The Coptic Orthodox Church of Saint Mary and Saint Moses the Black is located a few miles from the American Canadian borders in the beautiful Niagara Falls Area.
Our church was acquired in 2003 and was consecrated as an Orthodox Church on July 3rd, 2003.
The priest is Father Mark Iskander. He was ordained on November 11th, 2008, and began his service in our church on December 29th, 2008. He moved to Buffalo from the New York City area with his wife, Tasoni Jacklyn, and their two children.
The church complex comprises:
- One large church consecrated to Saint Mary and Saint Moses the Strong.
- A chapel consecrated to the Archangel Michael and Saint Abraam the Bishop of Efiom.
- Sunday School rooms.
- A retreat center that can accommodate up to 60 people.
- A playroom.
- A kitchen.
- A cafeteria.
We are blessed with the prayer of the Divine Liturgy every Wednesday and Sunday morning, as well as Vespers prayers, Hymns class and Tasbeha every Saturday night.
